Crochet butterfly for Bridget

This is a pattern from Annie's attic and calls for crochet cotton. I was having trouble following the pattern in the tiny thread so I switched to cotton thread much like string. It worked up quickly and I could see what I was doing. This has been stiffened with Elmers glue and water. It should look pretty on Bridget's wall or in her window.

  1. This is truly a marvelous piece. I know that every stitch was constructed with the finest quality love. Bridget is the absolutely best granddaughter that anyone could want. Poppy misses the snuggles. Nana makes the best stuff.

  2. Gorgeous! I am glad you did it with the bigger thread. It will be perfect along side her Iris Folded butterflies.
